UrbanMama Lite app for iPhone and iPad

UrbanMama Lite is the free version of UrbanMama. UrbanMama is a map-based app that helps you discover the best kid-friendly places & events in the city. This free version provides some of the content and features available in the full version of UrbanMama. The service is designed for both locals and tourists. It currently provides CURATED CONTENT for AMSTERDAM.


How UrbanMama Lite Works

UrbanMama Lite provides access to 2 kinds of kid-friendly spots (playgrounds & parks) as well as today’s events (performances, workshops, sports & outdoors, and festivals & markets). The map-based app displays outings around you that we feel are worth your time. Click on the pins to learn more. Share what you discover with friends. Rate & review existing entries. You can even contribute new entries to share with other parents!

We carefully select useful, fresh and relevant info for your city. UrbanMama delivers hundreds of CURATED entries for AMSTERDAM with rich descriptions including photos and ratings. Events are continuously updated! Users outside of Amsterdam are welcome to submit places & events for other cities.

UrbanMama is a volunteer, parent project and we plan to continue to improve the app, actively manage the content and add other big cities around the world - which all comes at a cost. UrbanMama Lite is a free, basic version of the UrbanMama app. The full version of UrbanMama is a paid app so that it can also be AD-FREE.


UrbanMama runs on iPhones with iOS 7.1 or higher. It also runs on iPad, although it is not optimized for it.
